Storyboards

This is my storyboard for my music video. I'm going to make an animatic using the images I scanned in to use as a template for my video. I may have to add more shots if it isn't long enough for my song.

Filming

I'm going to do some filming over the weekend and hopefully get a few shots that I need. I will be filming at my mates house and possibly some other places. I'm going to try and film the first 10-12 shots of my video and then I can start editing next week.

This is More than life's video for do you remember. The concept behind the band members travelling to get to one another is what I want to recreate. I'm going to start filming soon but due to the weather it may be hard to schedule days where skateboards can be used. It is difficult to skate now because of leaves, branches etc. I'm thinking of emailing subculture skate park to see if I could go in there to film.

Literal Story Boards

I've taken one word from each line of the song to see if i could get any new ideas of what to include in my music video.

Textual analysis of existing products

As part of my planning i'm going to analyse 3 existing music videos. All are within my genre and representative of the narrative i have chosen as well. The first song i'm going to choose is Astroid boys- grown down. Then Brutality will prevail- the path. Finally Odessa- carry the weight. All videos are within my genre and songs I like.
